Adding to the tragedy, his close friend died in stage 15 in Tour de France. When he tried to finish what his friend left, he too crashed. He was admitted in the hospital. All his fans prayed for is well being. Then the most tragic news in the history of sports came. He was reported of testicular cancer in its later stage. His doctors said his chance of surviving is only 50 percentages. Lance proved he is a legend. Proving all the medical assumptions to wrong, he started walking, then practiced cycling and very soon came to the track. Again in 1999 he raced in the Tour de France, it should have been really very difficult for him to cycle in such bad weather. But in spite of all the difficulties he won the title that year. He proved he is immovable. All the cancer patients around the world praised him. He was celebrated as hero but the media condemned him saying that he won the title because two big athletes didn’t participate in the game the next year. Lance proved to the world that he is the real hero by winning the title for not two, three or four times but seven times from 1999 to 2005. Now tell me, is there any one as great as Lance?
